LCAs (Life Cycle Assessments) are used as technical and scientific tools to assess the environmental performance of packaging materials used throughout the production chain, with the aim of improving them from an ecological point of view. This also involves the collaboration of various suppliers.
The Department also has the benefit of a materials testing lab, fitted out with all the latest technology required to characterise packaging materials.
